Delphine and Gilles welcome you with a smile!
With us, you’re not a customer, you’re our guest!
That’s the philosophy of Delphine and Gilles, who took over La Roucateille*** in December 2020 with a clear vision: to make this campground near Foix a place where guests truly feel at home. Delphine grew up in the outdoor hospitality industry (reception, activities, bar and restaurant operations, management), so she knows the business inside and out. Gilles, a trained osteopath, changed careers to join her on this new adventure, and he, for his part, looks after everyone’s well-being… in his own way!
Together, they’ve planted flowers throughout the campsite, built a 100% Ariège heated pool, launched Le Bon Gaillard to the delight of vacationers who come to dine outdoors under the lanterns, in a “guinguette”-style setting after a great day of visiting or activities, and invested in premium accommodations so you no longer have to choose between comfort and nature.
What their guests remember most? The warm welcome, the little daily touches; the day begins before you’re even awake… the campsite cart gently delivers your bread and pastries (for those with a sweet tooth) every morning to your terrace, or outside your tent, motorhome, caravan or camper van; and it’s this friendly atmosphere that makes you want to come back, particularly thanks to the Ariège entertainment evenings that take place throughout the summer at the campsite’s wine bar.
