Montgaillard
This is the village at the center of our 3* Ariege campsite. Take the time to walk along the banks of the river that crosses this village and to stroll through its narrow streets. Historical places to visit

If you are a history buff, you will be captivated by the historic cities, castles and caves. Did you know that in the Middle Ages, Ariège was a Cathar hotspot? This religion was considered heresy by the Church and the Counts of Foix are renowned for having helped the persecuted by protecting them. If this history, that of your ancestors, interests you, here are some places that you should not miss under any circumstances:

The castle of Foix. Located 5 minutes from the Ariege La Roucateille campsite, it was the stronghold of the emblematic Gaston Foebus. Completely renovated in 2019, it now has a 2,000 m² museum and offers participatory workshops to practice archery and crossbow! You will enjoy discovering this place with your children!

Niaux cave. With a height of 55 m and a width of 50 m, it contrasts completely with the reception building located at its entrance. Inside the cave, there are no reproductions, but real paintings from prehistoric times. In short, it should appeal to the youngest, as well as the oldest.

The castle of Roquefixade. This castle was a high place of resistance for the Cathars considered heretics by the Church. You can visit it for free all year round.

Quand effectuer le solde de mon séjour ?

Le solde de votre séjour doit être réglé dans son intégralité au moins un mois avant votre arrivée.

Quelles sont les heures d’arrivée et de départ en camping/location?

Pour les locations les arrivées se font à partir de 17h00 et les départs avant 10h00.
Pour les emplacements de camping les arrivées se font à partir de 12h et les départs avant 11h00.

Pour des arrivées en dehors des horaires d'ouverture de la réception, notre gardien vous accueillera 🙂
Dans tous les cas, nous sommes joignables sur le numéro du camping au 05.61.64.05.92. 24h/24 !

Simplement, pensez à tenir compte des horaires d’ouverture de la barrière 7h30-22h30. Après 22h30, il vous faudra laisser votre véhicule sur le parking extérieur.

Même si la location n'est disponible qu’à 17h00 puis-je arriver plus tôt ?

Oui vous pouvez, l'accès aux infrastructures (piscine, aire de jeux, bar à vin) vous sera permis. C’est également le cas le jour de votre départ, vous aurez accès aux infrastructures pour la journée une fois votre check-out effectué.

Comment faire si j'arrive et que la réception est fermée ?

Pas d’inquiétude 😉 Notre gardien est là pour vous accueillir quelle que soit votre heure d’arrivée !
Il habite dans le chalet juste en face de la réception !
Un numéro de téléphone est également affiché sur la porte de la réception.
Nous sommes joignables 24h/24.

Que dois-je emmener si je réserve en mobil-home ?

Toutes nos locations sont entièrement équipées et confortables (cuisine équipée, cafetière électrique, bouilloire, grille pain, salle de bain et WC séparés, chambres avec oreillers et couettes, terrasses couvertes...).
Elles disposent toutes d'une place de parking pour un véhicule, de chauffages électriques, d'une télévision, et d'une connexion WIFI gratuite pour un appareil.

Nous vous rappelons que seuls les oreillers et couettes sont fournis dans les locations. Si vous souhaitez voyager léger, nous proposons une location de draps (12€/couchage) et de kits serviettes (5€/kit avec 1 grande + 1 petite) en option. Vous pouvez également profiter d’un kit bébé comprenant un lit parapluie + matelas, une chaise haute et une baignoire pour 5€ / jour.

Les bébés comptent-ils dans la capacité du mobil-home ?

Oui, il compte comme une personne à part entière, et donc dans la capacité du mobil-home qui ne devra en aucun cas être dépassée pour une question d’assurance de la location.

Est-ce qu’il y aura quelqu’un pour nous accueillir si nous arrivons après la fermeture de la réception ?

Oui. Un gardien est sur le camping dès que la réception est fermée. Il sera là pour vous accueillir en cas d’arrivée tardive. Aussi, un numéro d’urgence est accessible 24h/24 sur la porte de la réception.

Est-il possible de louer du matériel pour bébé ?

Oui, nous proposons un kit BB à 5€ la nuit comprenant une chaise haute, un lit parapluie avec matelas et alaise imperméable, ainsi qu’une baignoire.

Louez-vous des draps et des serviettes de bain ?

Oui. La location de draps et serviettes est disponible sur demande au prix de 12€ par couchage, et 5€ par kit serviettes (1 grande + 1 petite). Ces 2 options sont incluses et gratuites dans tous nos Cottages Premium !

Les locations sont-elles équipées de climatisation ?

Oui, certaines possèdent une climatisation réversible.

Est-il possible de prendre l'option ménage fin de séjour une fois sur place ?

Oui. Vous pouvez ajouter le ménage fin de séjour de votre location au moment de la réservation, ou jusqu’à 24h avant votre départ en demandant directement à la réception. Le forfait ménage est facturé 80€.

Est-il possible de rajouter une tente à côté d’une location ?

Oui. À partir du moment où la capacité de la location n’est pas dépassée.

Les barbecues sont-ils autorisés ?

Oui, vous pouvez faire des barbecues sur votre emplacement ou à l’extérieur de vos mobil-homes.
Nous en proposons à la location au prix de 5€/jour. Nous pouvons également vous vendre du charbon de bois sur place.
Attention, l'usage des barbecues est strictement interdit sur les terrasses.

Louez-vous des frigos ?

Oui. Nous proposons une location de frigo pour les emplacements de camping à 5€/jour.
Pensez à le réserver à l’avance pour qu’il soit installé sur votre emplacement avant votre arrivée.

Les chiens et les chats sont-ils autorisés sur le camping / dans les locations ?

Seuls les chiens sont autorisés dans le camping, exceptés ceux de catégorie 1 et 2 : chiens d’attaque, de garde et de défense.
Ils doivent-être tenus en laisse. Aussi, vous devez vous munir du carnet de santé de l’animal et avoir les vaccinations à jour.
Ils sont au prix de 3€/nuit et /animal en emplacement, et 5€/nuit et /animal en location.
Ils sont acceptés en emplacements et dans certains locatifs.
Ils ne sont pas autorisés dans les Cottages Premium.

Faites-vous des locations de mobil-home au mois ou à l’année ?

Oui, devis sur demande et possibilité d’acheter un mobile-home sur le camping.

Quels sont les campings en Ariege proposant la location de mobil-home ?

Nous pouvons vous proposer plusieurs locations de mobil-homes à différents prix selon la gamme choisie.

Puis-je me baigner dans la rivière qui borde le camping ?

Non. Une piscine chauffée est à votre disposition sur le camping si vous souhaitez vous baignez.
Vous avez également une base nautique qui est située à 10 minutes du camping 🙂

Est-ce qu’il y a des moustiques sur le camping ?

La rivière qui borde notre camping n'étant pas stagnante, les moustiques ne sont pas présents sur notre camping.

Cela dit, les fortes chaleurs connues ces dernières années peuvent influencer ce phénomène en plein été.

Avez-vous un système pour la vidange des eaux usées à disposition pour vos clients ?

Oui, nous avons une station de vidange camping-car à disposition sur le camping. Elle a été entièrement refaite : remplissage en eau, vidange des eaux usées, jet d’eau haute pression, et station de gonflage pour la pression des pneus.
Gratuit pour nos clients, et à 5€ pour les clients ne séjournant pas au camping.
